Amani Campaign (formerly Project Darfur)

Once committed to raising awareness about the genocide in Darfur, Sudan, the Amani campaign has adapted to an annual conference for high school students aimed educating, raising awareness and empowering students to speak up and stand up against injustice.

Goals:

To Educate: to educate one another, the youth and community about war, genocide and its impact on civilians.

To Raise Awareness: to raise awareness about the genocide in Darfur, conflict in the Congo and other conflicts in Africa.

To Empower: to empower youth and community to speak up against war and genocide, and stand up for change by lobbying for peace and justice.

To educate, raise awareness, empower youth to stand in solidarity for change.
